Good Shepherd Rehabilitation is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to lead the patient access team's daily operations and ensure efficient workflows. The role supports management, maintains staffing coverage, and drives performance while upholding care standards and financial performance.

The PSC serves as a liaison between Patient Services Representatives and leadership, leading in the absence of a supervisor and guiding improvement initiatives across departments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Medical Office experience required.
• EMR training/tests required.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Ability to monitor and improve workflow and performance.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily operations and staffing coverage across assigned areas.
• Oversee schedule integrity and PTO management.
• Monitor compliance with regulations (TJC, DOH, HIPAA) and policies.
• Generate performance reports to coach staff and support evaluations.
• Act as liaison between PSRs and management; escalate concerns.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and policy updates.
• Handle frontline service recovery and patient concerns.
