Job summary

Houston Northwest Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Hospitality Manager, Patient Experience, to oversee daily Patient Services operations. You will ensure patient and staff safety, maintain HACCP standards, and lead as the Nutrition Services leader within an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires supervisory healthcare experience and knowledge of nutrition services. You will manage tray delivery, coordinates with HR for staffing, and drive quality and performance

Qualifications

• Three years of supervisory/management experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Two years of healthcare Clinical Nutrition experience is preferred.
• Food protection management certification (ServeSafe, NRFSP, Always Food Safe, Above Training, 360 Training, Prometric, etc.) is preferred/required.
• RD/LD or CDM certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Patient Services to ensure patient and employee satisfaction, safety, and HACCP guidelines are maintained.
• Manage the patient tray delivery system.
• Coordinate daily floor stock delivery and monitor costs with financial reporting.
• Lead performance improvement and quality control programs for Food and Nutrition Services.
• Hire, train, coach, and counsel staff per hospital HR policies.
• Ensure timely completion of required documentation; ensure HACCP and regulatory compliance (TJC, CMS).
• Participate on hospital committees and act as on-site administrator for the Patient Computer system with IT&S liaison.
• Oversee department temperature monitoring system and be a nutrition information resource.
• Promote a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery as needed.
• Provide staff education and coordinate preceptors for Dietetic Interns; conduct leadership development activities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics Preferred

Food Protection Management Certification (ServeSafe, NRFSP, Always Food Safe, Above Training, 360 Training, Prometric, etc.)

Registered Dietician (RD) or Licensed Dietician (LD) preferred, or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred
