Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Patient Services Supervisor to oversee meal service and nourishments for patients in hospital and long-term care facilities. You will lead, train, and support Patient Services Workers, ensuring accurate adherence to physician/dietitian orders, and communicating patient food needs across the Food and Nutrition Services Department.

In this role, you will ensure sanitation standards, maintain temperature logs, and assist clinical staff in meeting patients' nutrition care

Qualifications

• Experience as a Patient Services Supervisor required.
• Demonstrates leadership, interpersonal, communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Bilingual abilities preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Patient Services Workers during meal service. Delivers nourishments and/or snacks to patients as ordered by physician/dietitian in a timely manner.
• Visits patients to introduce the services of the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Communicate all patient food needs to the appropriate area of the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Ensures that nutrition diet care orders are provided to the patient by offering appropriate menu selections.
• Maintains temperature logs for unit refrigerators and freezers.
• Lead, train, and support Patient Services Workers in their roles supporting patients/residents.
