Job summary

TouchPoint is hiring a Lead, Patient Services to coordinate patient meal service at Ascension Seton Northwest in Austin, TX. This full-time role involves leading Patient Dining Associates, training staff, and ensuring timely delivery of meals in a compassionate healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and operation and maintenance instructions.
• Aptitude for effectively operating hospital’s admission, discharge and transfer (ADT) system and other computer-based systems, which manage patient care records.
• The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Oversees systems and processes to ensure the Patient Dining Program objectives are met.
• Supervise Patient Dining Associates and ensure tray assembly and delivery.
• Coordinate menu alternatives for allergies, settings, and cultural preferences.
• Interact with nursing to evaluate patient meal selections and tray delivery.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel.
