Select Medical in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Patient Service Specialist - Float to join our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet, register, and assist patients, schedule appointments, and help with billing and insurance tasks at the front desk.

The role requires a high school diploma and may prefer 1 year of front desk or healthcare experience; hours are Monday through Friday with compensation $17.00-$19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
