Confluent Health is seeking Care Coordinators to be the heartbeat of our clinics in West Nyack, NY. You’ll greet patients, manage front desk duties, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and help patients understand next steps.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with training support, HIPAA compliance, and a clear development plan. A customer-friendly mindset and strong communication are essential to succeed and grow with our team.

Qualifications

• Previous customer-facing experience, ideally in healthcare or service roles.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in customer- or patient-facing roles with strong communication.
• Able to multitask while staying organized and detail oriented.
• Comfortable speaking on the phone with patience and professionalism.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage a welcoming, professional first impression.
• Oversee front desk operations: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and calls.
• Review and follow up on referrals, update patient records, communicate next steps.
• Maintain patient flow: confirm appointments, manage waitlists, handle cancellations.
• Collect copays and payments accurately, with basic tracking.
• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA in all interactions.
