Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Patient Service Representative for a 13-week contract in a medical office, serving as the first point of contact for patients and handling front-office tasks. This role supports reception, registration, scheduling, and billing activities to ensure a positive patient experience and efficient clinical operations.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, verifying demographics and insurance, scheduling, answering phones, and maintaining confidential records

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of customer service, medical office, or front-desk experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
• Perform front-office reception duties, including answering phones and directing inquiries.
• Support billing and payment collection processes in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to facilitate efficient patient flow.
