University Physicians’ Association is seeking a full-time Patient Service Representative for UT Primary Care Western Heights. You will greet patients, assist with forms for EHR and billing, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and help maintain patient flow and data accuracy.

Strong communication, computer and typing skills are essential, and prior medical experience is required to succeed in this role. Monday–Friday, in-office position at the Knoxville location.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly and timely manner.
• Ensure patients complete forms for EHR and billing.
• Maintain patient demographics and insurance information; verify eligibility and collect co-pays.
• Support smooth patient flow through front desk operations.
• Answer inquiries about registration or billing.
• Refer medical care questions to nurse or physician.
• Schedule patients with the appropriate physician.
• Scan documents into the EHR system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
