Job Title:

Patient Service Coordinator- Abramson Cancer Center Clinic, West Chester

Department:

Cancer Center West Chester Clinic

Location:

East Marshall St Medical Office Building - 440 E Marshall St

Entity:

Hours:

M-F 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards (e.g., TJC, DOH, FDA, HIPAA).
  • Manage daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, and performance metrics.
  • Communicate changes effectively.
  • Develop and maintain templates and schedules, oversee quality audits.
  • Generate financial reports, reconcile accounts, and resolve work issues.
  • Prioritize recovery of missing charges and monitor performance metrics.
  • Act as communication link between the team and management.
  • Support practice policies, resolve patient issues, and participate in hiring and training.
  • Perform surgery scheduling and administrative support as needed.
  • Patient Service Associate duties: understand patient needs, manage requests, schedule appointments, handle check-out activities, and update records.
  • Coordinate clinical and administrative aspects of new patient scheduling if applicable.
  • Follow protocols for telephone and registration issues, assist with coverage and resource scheduling.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 3+ years of medical office experience (Required)
  • Advanced degrees may substitute for experience.
