RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team. This part-time role covers Saturdays 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, assisting front desk operations, medical records, and technologist support to ensure smooth patient flow.

DailyPay is available; responsibilities include patient check-in, registration, billing coordination, and HIPAA-compliant handling of information. The role emphasizes excellent customer service and teamwork in a radiology setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of applicable customer service experience.
• Proficient with using computer systems and typing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as initial point of contact for patients and visitors, creating and providing positive legendary Patient Service Experiences.
• Timely registration of patient arrival by validating demographic information and collecting payments prior to services.
• Inform patients about delays and wait times; follow up to resolve inquiries or complaints.
• Answering, investigating, and directing patient inquiries or complaints to the supervisor or manager.
• Obtain and validate photo IDs and insurance cards; scan documents into charts.
• Explain Consent, Financial, and HIPAA documents to patients as needed.
• Proficient use of EHR software and related programs.
• Scrutinize prescriptions and referrals for accuracy to ensure appropriate exams.
• Coordinate with interdepartmental staff to ensure patient satisfaction with appointments and admissions.
