Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Front Office Associate to join our team. You will greet and register patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and coordinate with referring professionals in a cheerful, professional manner.

This full-time role features a 40-hour week with Mon-Fri shifts 12:30pm–9:00pm and rotating Saturdays; DailyPay is available. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, life and disability insurance, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Proficient in using computer systems and typing.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel

Responsibilities

• Greet and checks-in patients scheduled for imaging services; processes payments and copays as needed
• Answer phones and handle calls efficiently and friendly
• Field phone calls for Center Team Members
• Act as liaison between imaging technologists and patients awaiting exams
• Maintain front office lobby organization and assist with general office cleanup
• Order and restock office supplies; maintain patient information sheets
• Assist with patient appointment confirmations and preparation instructions
• Fax/scan reports, billing information, and medical release forms as requested
• Schedule transportation, interpreters, and hotel accommodations when appropriate
• Enter and submit patient exam orders; verify orders match schedules
• Schedule referrals and ensure proper authorizations are obtained
• Schedule walk-in patients; process image order requests and CDs
• Maintain an up-to-date database of referring physicians
• Verify insurance coverage and precertify exams; obtain authorizations
• Facilitate release of information requests per guidelines
• Complete other tasks and projects as assigned
