Job summary

Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Medical Office Coordinator for our Seacoast NH practices. You will handle scheduling, patient inquiries, referrals, and front-desk duties in a team-based, patient-centered environment.

The role emphasizes superior customer service, accurate data entry, insurance verification, and compliance with office protocols across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience in customer service environment.
• BCLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check in/check out, scheduling, answering phones and messages.
• Collect co-pays and patient balances; verify insurance; update demographics.
• Post payments and adjustments; reconcile daily journal; assist with deposits.
• Mentor and train new staff as needed.
• Provide patient referrals as directed; assign new patients to provider and care team.
• Follow standard work protocols and complete order/referral reconciliation.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and a therapeutic environment.
• Provide coverage for other Core offices as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.
