Community Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Patient Service Professional to check in patients as they arrive for appointments. This entry-level role plays a crucial part in delivering quality patient experiences in our clinics and supporting nurses and providers.

Wage range is $16.50-$23/hr. The position emphasizes strong customer service and data entry, with perks including free prescription medication for employees and family members, PTO and holidays, and employer-paid insurance.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and data entry skills.
• Experience in a medical/reception office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and reviews charts for demographics, privacy, and UDS with all forms completed.
• Requests payment at point of service.
• Prints daily schedules and reviews charts for paperwork, Medicaid eligibility and intake needs.
• Makes appointments only when necessary to support nurses and providers.
• Assists patients in completing required forms.
• Answers incoming calls for the department.
• Collects paperwork and checks completeness before scanning by Medical Records.
• Applies payments to patient accounts per procedure.
• Performs end-of-day duties: print reports, balance cash, ensure patients are cared for and restock supplies.
