Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of clerical experience in a medical office is required.
• Knowledge of medical office software for updating demographics, posting charges, copays, and scheduling is required.
• Basic medical terminology; EPIC knowledge; familiarity with payor billing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, check-in and check-out.
• Enter charges and assist with collection of patient balances.
• Cross-train in multiple administrative support functions for flexibility.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide excellent service.
• Interact with diverse patients and teams to ensure smooth operations.
