Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking a clinic operations clerk to ensure smooth workflow in a correctional facility medical clinic. You serve as the primary contact for patients, prepare paperwork before visits, receive patients, and maintain records while coordinating related clinic services.

The role requires a high school diploma and 3 years of customer service, with healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years customer service, office or related experience required, with two (2) of those years in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Additional education may substitute for the experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Values Based Culture of TTUHSC.
• Complies with TTUHSC and policy and procedures including all necessary paperwork.
• Order supplies and pickup as necessary.
• Maintains inventory of capital equipment and repair.
• Maintains professional relationship with vendors and other departments at unit.
• Pick up boxes when delivered by UPS/ FEDEX / mailroom.
