Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Austin, TX is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to be the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring every step of the care journey is seamless, efficient, and supportive.

You will verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, coordinate referrals, and optimize scheduling to help patients access care quickly and confidently. This role offers growth in a national clinical network with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience; healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management.
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments.
