Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Coordinator in the United States. You will connect patients, providers, and insurers to ensure a seamless care journey, handling insurance verification, prior authorizations, referrals, and scheduling to keep the practice moving.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow processes for Insurance Verification and benefits management.
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
• Oversee weekly and monthly reconciliation of charges.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal departments.

Qualifications & Pay Range

Your Responsibilities as a Patient Service Coordinator

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines
• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments

Qualifications

• At minimum, a High School or GED diploma (Submission of diploma for the highest level of education obtained will be required).
• 1-2 years of customer service experience (experience with healthcare preferred).

Schedule

• Full Time: Monday - Thursday - 12pm - 8pm; Friday 8am - 4pm

Compensation

Pay Range: $18-$20 per hour (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
