Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator in Chicago, IL. You will be the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring a seamless care journey and efficient administrative support.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience (healthcare preferred).
• Experience handling insurance verification and patient communications is a plus.

Qualifications & Pay Range

Your Responsibilities as a Patient Service Coordinator

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines


• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management


• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization


• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly


• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments

Qualifications

• At minimum, a High School or GED diploma (Submission of diploma for the highest level of education obtained will be required).


• 1-2 years of customer service experience (experience with healthcare preferred).

Schedule

• Full Timeposition with availability during office hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM

Compensation

Pay Range: $20-23/hr(Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
