Job Summary

Novant Health is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator III responsible for the timely and accurate recording of patient demographics, insurance information, patient charges, and collections. The role includes scheduling patient appointments and cross-training in multiple administrative support functions. Join our team where quality care meets quality service in every dimension.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: At least one year of clerical experience in a medical office setting; related experience may be considered.
  • Skills: Knowledge of medical office software (updating demographics, posting charges, scheduling), excellent verbal communication, organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Ability to interact with diverse individuals, maintain confidentiality, and work as part of a team. Basic medical terminology knowledge is required, with proficiency in EPIC systems, billing requirements, and coding for practice specialties preferred.

Additional skills include proficiency in all practice-related computer software.
