Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator in Manassas, VA. You will be the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring a seamless and supportive care journey.

You will verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and help coordinate referrals and scheduling. PT Solutions emphasizes professional development, PTO, and a clear path for advancement within a nationwide practice.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management.
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments.

Your Responsibilities As a Patient Service Coordinator

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines
• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments

Qualifications

• At minimum, a High School or GED diploma (Submission of diploma for the highest level of education obtained will be required).
• 1‑2 years of customer service experience (experience with healthcare preferred).

Schedule

• Full Time: Flexible schedule - opening twice a week and closing twice a week.

Compensation

Pay Range: $18-$24/hour (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
