Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy in New Jersey is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to act as the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring a seamless care journey. You will verify insurance, secure authorizations, and coordinate referrals to accelerate access to care.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience; healthcare experience preferred.
• Submission of diploma for the highest level of education obtained will be required.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management.
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments.

Your Responsibilities As a Patient Service Coordinator

Qualifications

• At minimum, a High School or GED diploma (Submission of diploma for the highest level of education obtained will be required).
• 1-2 years of customer service experience (experience with healthcare preferred).

Compensation

Pay Range: $19-$21/hr (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
