Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a part-time Patient Service Representative to join the HIMG Communications Department.

This role involves meeting and greeting patients for the Clinic, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and routing calls to the appropriate personnel or departments. Responsibilities also include filing, faxing, copying, and sending reports, and performing other office-related duties as needed or directed.

Qualifications

• One year of medical department or hospital experience.
• High School diploma required; business training, CPT/ICD training, and medical terminology are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet patients for the Clinic as needed.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Answer telephone and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
• File, fax, copy and send reports.
• Perform other office-related duties as needed or directed.
