Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
• Prior receptionist/front desk experience strongly preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in EPIC or similar EMR systems.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check in/out; schedule appointments.
• Answer phones, manage referrals, and verify insurance details.
• Collect co-pays and receipts; reconcile daily transactions.
• Maintain accurate records in EPIC; ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate follow-up and referral appointments with providers.
• Support team during huddles and monitor scheduling metrics.
