Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join our patient care team in Chicago. You will perform complex administrative duties including registration, scheduling, and customer service to ensure a welcoming and respectful patient experience.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, checking in/out, handling forms, phone duties, and ensuring HIPAA compliance while supporting daily center operations and referrals as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with HIPAA and handling confidential information.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and manage scheduling.
• Check in/out patients using the patient management system.
• Explain forms and ensure proper paperwork completion.
• Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls appropriately.
• Communicate wait times and appointment reminders.
• Maintain office supplies and file records.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and safety rules.
