Responsibilities

• Directs and advises departmental personnel in patient service center procedures; facilitates scheduling to ensure coverage; supervises and evaluates staff.
• Supports problem solving to attain first call resolution and addresses escalated customer service concerns.
• Selects and hires qualified candidates for patient service center workgroup.
• Maintains training, annual performance evaluations, and ensures compliance with policies.
• Collaborates with hospital leadership and payer relations to secure reimbursement and minimize denials.
• Oversees monthly reporting and staff development activities.
