Job summary

Responsibilities

• Verifies insurance, communicates with carriers for reimbursement.
• Performs daily and monthly close out procedures for internal controls and cash balancing.
• Maintains knowledge of insurance co-pays, deductibles, and workers' compensation protocols to ensure accurate billing information.
• Promotes customer satisfaction with professional communication and demeanor.
• Possesses knowledge of corporate policies as they relate to clinic operations.
• Answers telephones and directs messages to maintain workflow.
• Keeps files and records organized to promote confidentiality and efficiency.
• Coordinates data input (demographics/medical) and assists patients with financial counseling when appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager.
