Responsabilidades

• Reviews encounter forms for accuracy and posts charges; balances daily cash.
• Interviews patients to obtain demographic and insurance information.
• Inputs patient registration data into the system and verifies accuracy.
• Provides information to patients or approved outside entities as directed.
• Discusses financial arrangements with patients or family members.
• Directs patients to correct locations and answers calls; clerical support.
• Trains new employees and may lead the patient services area.
