Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding is preferred.
• Associate's Degree in a technical program (18+ months) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient registration, pre-certification, charge capture, and coding as assigned.
• Post payments and balance with reports at day end; manage cash deposits.
• Greet patients, check in, verify insurance information, and obtain needed signatures.
• Assist with insurance forms, claims, and contacting third-party payers as needed.
• Coordinate scheduling, charts, and outreach tasks; maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
