Job summary

Jefferson Health in Willow Grove, PA is seeking a Patient Services Associate (PSA) II to enhance the patient experience by processing arrival and departure activities, verifying insurance, pre-certifications, and demographics. This on-site role supports efficient flow and excellent service.

You will greet patients, schedule appointments via EPIC, obtain pre-authorizations, maintain HIPAA compliance, and escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must communicate courteously with patients/visitors.
• Ability to multi task while managing a time sensitive workload.
• Ability to process and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Check in/out patients and schedule appointments via EPIC.
• Obtain pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations for procedures.
• Maintain efficient flow of practice and escalate concerns as needed.
• Greet patients/visitors professionally, on phone or in person.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements and comply with regulatory standards.
