Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Patient Services Associate to greet patients, register and check in, collect copays, and coordinate scheduling. You will support insurance verification and patient communications to ensure efficient visits.
The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, exceptional customer service, and teamwork within a busy medical office environment. Prior office experience is preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
The Patient Services Associate (PSA) is responsible for ensuring an excellent experience for patients and maintaining efficient front-office workflows. The Patient Services Associate interacts with patients by greeting and providing check-in prior to an appointment, collecting payments, communicating about waiting times, and supporting check-out activities. PSAs respond to patient calls and inquiries on a timely basis, schedule and coordinate patient appointments, complete insurance verification and update patient insurance information to support accurate billing and efficient payment for services. The Patient Services Associate prepares the daily clinic schedule, completes the prep chart for upcoming appointments, and supports the practice care team and staff deliver high-quality care to every patient, every day.

NOTE: Team members at least 21 years old and are active full-time or part‑time employee are eligible to participate in our 401(k) Plan at the time of hire. Team Members are eligible to begin participating in the ESPP if they have been employed by Pediatrix for two consecutive months prior to the start of each calendar quarterly offering period and are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for five consecutive months during the year.
All full-time team members are eligible for PTO that may be used for time away from work. Team members hired before the 15th of the month accrue PTO the first month of employment; however, team members hired on or after the 16th of the month begin accruing PTO the month following date of hire. Team members are entitled to PTO according to the following methodology:
Team members accrue PTO as they work up to the maximum accruals stated above. After reaching the maximum accrual, a team member does not accrue additional PTO time until the team members uses sufficient PTO to fall below the maximum permissible accruals. Full-time team members who work less than 40 hours will accrue on a pro rata basis.
The Company observes the following Holidays: New Year’s Day; Memorial Day; Juneteenth; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Friday after Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; and 1 Floating Holiday.
NOTE: The paid holidays above are offered to regular full-time team members upon employment. Full-time team members who work fewer than 40 hours per week will receive holiday pay on a pro-rated basis.
Pediatrix provides paid sick leave to full-time team members through our PTO with accruals outlined above.
