Patient Services Ambassador (Dietary Aide)

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

Hours: 12 hours per week

Shift: Evening shift with weekend and holiday rotation; 3:45pm - 7:45pm

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Manager of Patient Services or designee.
• Ensure customer and patient satisfaction by performing various duties.
• Assist with patient meal selections, ensuring they align with dietary restrictions.
• Update and correct patient menus with patient knowledge, using the menu correction guide and dietitian resources.
• Describe ingredients and features of menu items.
• Enter patient food preferences into the Patient Services Software Platform, including EPIC as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, with additional training or experience preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or have an exemption with a signed statement.
• Pay rate will be determined based on experience.

Pay Range: USD $15.78 - USD $22.22 per hour
