Vera French is looking for a Dietary Manager to join our Dietary team at the Residential Care Facilities! As the Dietary Manager you would be responsible for coordinating and supervising the food service operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Supervise dietary and housekeeping staff; prepare work schedules and assign duties for daily and long-range food preparation
  • Ensure orderly work functions are maintained and required food sanitation regulations are followed
  • Consult with a licensed dietician and oversee the provision of optimal nutrition for
  • Maintain monthly budget; review invoices
  • Prepare food orders, purchase all foods and supplies, and store food in an acceptable manner
  • Maintain inventory records as directed by State guidelines

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associates degree in related field
  • Previous institutional and/or commercial cooking experience required; three years
  • Completion or ability to complete 90 hours of State nutrition food preparation courses required
  • One year satisfactory supervisory experience required
  • Experience with food purchasing and quantity recipe writing required.
