Hours: vary M- F between 7am - 7pm

PRN (as needed)– Float

Candidate will be required to travel to multiple outpatient clinics.

Area of Coverage: Plano, Frisco, Addison, Carrollton, Richardson, and Farmers Branch

PRN rate: $21.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Seeking candidate who can provide outstanding customer service and attention to details in a fast-paced environment. A team player who is flexible, organized, adaptable, and able to travel between clinics. Responsibilities include processing referrals, scheduling patients, completing intake processes & data entry, insurance verification, obtaining authorizations, reviewing benefits with patients, copay collection, arriving and rescheduling patients, billing reports, closing reports, and other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments, working with the Center manager to minimize cancellations and support treatment adherence.
• Register patient information, ensuring all forms are complete with signatures and accurately documented in the electronic medical record.
• Verify patient insurance, obtain required authorizations before visits, and explain benefits, financial responsibilities, billing, and outpatient policies.
• Collect payments towards patient responsibilities at each visit.
• Scan and maintain medical documents.
• Reconcile and post charges daily, and generate reports to ensure clean claim processing.
• Respond to requests for information from patients, other departments, and physicians.
• Maintain office supplies and manage mail.
• Adjust schedule as needed to support center needs.
• Attend mandatory meetings and in-service education programs.
• Travel to other sites for coverage when necessary.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required

Preferred Experience

• Customer service experience
• Knowledge of insurance verification
• Experience in healthcare, medical, or dental office administration
