Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Obtain or verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collect co-pays and fees and log all transactions.
• Answer and transfer inbound calls and manage patient communications.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Orient patients to preparatory and safety protocols and provide directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff to ensure timely care.
• Safeguard patient information and property, including PHI.
• Safeguard on-site medications according to policies and regulations.
• Maintain professional conduct and respect patient boundaries and privacy.
