Covenant Medical Group is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support check-out operations and billing for the Oak Ridge Surgeons team. You will collect encounter forms, balance patient accounts, and ensure accurate data entry at day’s end.

The role emphasizes collaboration with patients, physicians, and care team members within a fast-paced clinic setting. Prior medical office experience and basic coding knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in medical office with scheduling and billing.
• Experience in ICD-9/10 and CPT-4 coding (charge entry) required.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle check-out operations and encounter form data.
• Record and balance outstanding balances and payments.
• Balance daily work and computer at end of day.
• Schedule appointments for returns and end-of-day procedures.
• Collaborate with patient, physician, and care team members.
