Job summary

Select Medical in Suwanee, GA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet and register patients, manage appointments, and handle front desk operations at our outpatient physical therapy center.

This full-time role runs Weekdays with a 40-hour schedule, starting at $16/hour. You will coordinate patient flow, handle co-pays, and verify insurance while supporting business and clinical staff to ensure a positive care experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience required.
• 1 year medical office experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Coordinate regular communication with attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and the business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
