Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet and register patients at our Columbus outpatient center. You will schedule appointments, assist patients with visit details, and coordinate with insurance companies and external offices to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires minimal qualifications and offers a full-time schedule with competitive hourly compensation. Benefits include PTO, health coverage, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
• 1 year of front desk experience preferred.
• Insurance verification experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain regular communication with offices, insurance companies, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
