Job summary

Olympic Sports & Spine is seeking a Patient Service Representative - Float to provide fill-in coverage across 24 clinics. The role focuses on patient calls, scheduling, insurance verification, and front desk duties.

This full-time position offers training, a competitive benefits package, and a pay differential reflecting our appreciation for commitment to work at OSS locations.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:20 p.m., with 40 hours per week guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of insurance verification process.
• Knowledge of computer programs.
• Knowledge of business office procedures.
• Ability to operate a computer, scanner, fax/copy, and basic office equipment.
• Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system.
• Effective oral and written communication with patients, staff, insurers, and referral sources.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize Tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process patient scheduling, calls, and related front desk duties.
• Verify insurance and obtain authorizations when required.
• Fax and scan documents to referral sources and file patient records.
• Maintain and build patient charts; communicate with billing staff.
• Collect payments, reconcile nightly cash, and print reports.
• Prepare charts for next-day appointments and make reminder calls.
