Job summary

Olympic Sports & Spine is seeking a Patient Service Representative (Float) to provide coverage at all 24 clinics. You will handle scheduling, verify insurance, maintain patient charts, and ensure excellent front-desk service across locations.

The role requires strong communication with patients, staff, and insurers, and a proactive approach to resolving scheduling issues. This full-time position offers comprehensive training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of insurance and the verification process.
• Knowledge of computer programs.
• Knowledge of business office procedures.
• Ability to operate a computer, scanner, fax/copy, and basic office equipment.
• Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system.
• Effective oral and written communication with patients, staff, insurers, and referral sources.
• Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize Tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process all activity related to OSS’s patient services, including scheduling and insurance verification.
• Manage high-volume scheduling: answer calls, collect information, verify insurance, obtain authorizations.
• Maintain patient charts, scan documents, and file paperwork.
• Communicate with OSS staff via Outlook and coordinate with billing to resolve issues.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in training.
