Patient Service Specialist - Children’s Rehab Therapy

Join the Cleveland Clinic team as a Patient Service Specialist - Children’s Rehab Therapy and work alongside passionate caregivers to provide patient-first healthcare. This role involves delivering exceptional patient experiences from scheduling to visit preparations, serving as a stepping stone within Cleveland Clinic's diverse departments.

Work hours: 7:00AM - 6:00PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive, and "Patients First" experience for patients and visitors.
• Investigate, triage, and resolve patient issues using the HEART model.
• Create a welcoming and professional environment, ensuring stellar patient experiences.
• Perform patient registration, visit preparation, telephone triage, insurance verification, co-pay collection, record tracking, scheduling, and interpreter services coordination.
• Maintain confidential patient information.
• Educate patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass enrollment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED with two years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing, or customer service, OR
• Associate’s Degree with one year of relevant experience, OR
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• EPIC experience.
• Strong computer skills.

Physical & Safety Requirements:

• Dexterity to operate office equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to navigate various locations and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift and transport up to 25 pounds.

• Follow standard precautions with PPE as required.
