WhatYou’llDo:

Clinic Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Schedule: Employees are scheduled to work three 8-hour shifts per week. Shifts may be scheduled between 6:45 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturday shifts from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM may be required, approximately once per month.

As aPatient Service Representative (PSR),you’llplay a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.

As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will:

• Patient Services: Provides efficient, high-quality service to patients who arrive for appointments or who telephone or visit in person to request appointments or information on tests and procedures, bills and charges, referrals, and other matters.

• Billing Services: Ensures entry at time of service of billing information on the patient and payer andaccuratefollow-up on missing information.

• Medical Record Services: Upholds standards of the practice and of the medical group foraccurateandtimelymedical records.

Locations:

The candidate will rotate through all six locations within the Lutheran General service area:

• 1875 Dempster St. – Park Ridge
• 10 N. Cumberland Rd. – Park Ridge
• 77 Rand Rd. – Des Plaines
• 650 W. Lake Cook Rd. – Buffalo Grove
• 1412 Waukegan Rd. – Glenview
• 1754 W. Golf Rd. – Mount prospect

The position requires flexibility to work at all six locations as part of the regular rotation schedule.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to function in a high volume, multiple-task environment,and inacrowdedor closely sharedworkspace.

• Exposure to ill patients.

• Ability to work under stressful conditions with demanding customers.

• Mustlift upto 35 pounds without help.For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable toassistwith the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
