Advocate Health Care in Park Ridge is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join the ambulatory care team. You’ll support providers, connect with patients, and help ensure a seamless, compassionate experience.

The role emphasizes high-quality patient service and accurate record handling in a busy clinical setting. This part-time position offers a 20-hour weekly schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm; alternating two 8-hour and three 8-hour shifts).

• Medical Record Services: Upholds standards of the practice and of the medical group for accurate and timely medical records.

We’re Looking For

What You’ll Do

Schedule: 20 hours a week. Monday - Friday from 8:00 am- 4:30 pm; One week of the pay period would be two eight hour shifts and the next would be three eight hour shifts.

As a Patient Service Representative (PSR), you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.

Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

• Ability to function in a high volume, multiple-task environment, and in a crowded or closely shared workspace.
• Exposure to ill patients.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions with demanding customers.
• Must lift up to 35 pounds without help. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
