Job summary

OrthoAtlanta is seeking a Patient Services Representative to greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and be the friendly first contact in the clinic.

You will schedule appointments, answer calls, collect co-pays and balances, explain financial policies, and enter patient demographics and insurance data into the EMR (Epic a plus).

This role supports front-office operations, keeps the waiting area organized, and helps our clinical team deliver a positive patient experience every day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems (Epic a plus).
• Strong customer service and patient-focused demeanor.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Patient Services Representative at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:

• Greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and help with questions about appointments, insurance, or procedures
• Collect co-pays, prepayments, and outstanding balances accurately while explaining financial policies as needed
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments, answer incoming calls, and ensure timely patient communication and follow-through
• Input and update patient demographics, insurance information, and visit details into the EMR system
• Open and close the front office, keep the waiting area clean and organized, and work assigned EMR “buckets” to support clinic flow
