Job summary

The UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Pediatric Physical Therapy department is seeking an administrative professional to support daily operations. Primary duties include patient registration, scheduling procedures, submitting charges, and processing collections with accuracy and efficiency.

You will demonstrate strong customer service, maintain professional interactions with patients, physicians and staff, assist with workflow, and adhere to PHI security and UH policies.

Position located within the Pediatric Physical Therapy department

What You Will Do

• Primary responsibilities are accurate and efficient patient registration, procedure scheduling, charge transmittals, collections, and procurement.
• Representatives must use quality customer service techniques to ensure patient needs are met.
• Maintain professional interpersonal skills with patients, physicians and co-workers.
• Supports department operations.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities: resolves issues, monitors schedules, assists staff/patients, and ensures effective/efficient departmental workflow.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
