Job summary

Mountain Family Health Centers in Basalt, Colorado is seeking an entry-level Patient Service Representative to welcome patients, collect information, and guide them through financial steps. In this front-desk role you will handle patient registration, schedule appointments, and provide friendly, efficient service, supporting the medical, behavioral, and dental teams.

No advanced degree required; a high school diploma is preferred and customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum two years’ experience in medical or financial field.
• Minimum two years’ experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collect patient information at check-in and ensure a welcoming experience.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist patients with questions.
• Assist patients with understanding and meeting their financial responsibilities.
• Front desk operations including scheduling and patient registration.

General Purpose

To ensure a positive and efficient start to the patient experience at MFHC. Success in this role means accurately collecting patient information, providing excellent customer service, and assisting patients with understanding and meeting their financial responsibilities.

This role serves as the front desk and first point of contact for patients, making it essential in creating a welcoming, professional, and supportive environment.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a medical or financial field preferred
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in customer service capacity
