Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival and dismissal.
• Respond to patient questions and concerns according to policy.
• Answer telephones and route calls appropriately.
• Schedule appointments and maintain appointment book.
• Confirm appointments and follow up on no-shows or cancellations.
• Register patients on sign-in sheet and post charges/payments to accounts.
• Check voicemail daily and keep waiting area clean and welcoming.

Helfner Dental is looking for a Patient Service Representative in Commack, New York, to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating team-based environment. We take pride in providing comprehensive, personalized care in warm and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.

Position Overview

This position is perfect for someone with a passion for providing outstanding customer service, a willingness to learn, and desired to get started in the dental field. environment. The person will be a support person to all the staff members and patients in his/her office. They will answer phones, handle patient inquiries, make appointments, and assist with the completion of the patient’s treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements while being flexible in handling requests and projects assigned by other staff and/or the Office Manager. What We Offer

• Pay: min$27-max$34 per hour
• Part time: Monday - Friday and 2 Saturdays a month

Responsibilities

• Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
• Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to policies
