Job summary

Advocate Medical Group (AMG) in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Patient Service Representative to provide frontline patient support and scheduling across six AMG locations. You will assist with registration, billing, and medical records while ensuring a compassionate patient experience.

• 1875 Dempster St. - Park Ridge
• 10 N. Cumberland Rd. - Park Ridge
• 77 Rand Rd. - Des Plaines
• 650 W. Lake Cook Rd. - Buffalo Grove
• 1412 Waukegan Rd. - Glenview
• 1754 W. Golf Rd . - Mount Prospect

The position requires flexibility to work at all six locations as part of the regular rotation schedule.

Pay Range

$19.80 - $29.70

Job Description Summary

To provide efficient, effective, quality customer service and practice support through a variety of general office duties including scheduling, coding, registration and billing. Maximize revenues by collecting payment at time of service and entering accurate and up-to-date billing information (address, insurance coverage, etc.) into the patient accounting system. Assist clinical staff in maintaining accurate medical records.

What You’ll Do

Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm

Schedule : Employees are scheduled for five 8-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturday shifts from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM may be required, approximately once per month. Travel is required

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to function in a high volume, multiple-task environment, and in a crowded or closely shared workspace.
• Exposure to ill patients.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions with demanding customers.
• Must lift 35 pounds without help. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available.
• Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
