CLS Health PLLC is seeking a Patient Service Representative I in Texas to serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience and accurate information handling. You will collect co-pays, verify insurance, and maintain up-to-date patient records in a busy healthcare setting.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Prior medical office or customer service experience is preferred, supporting a smooth patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively is important.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications is expected.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information.
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service.
• Ensure the referrals are in the patient's chart before the patient comes in.
• Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date.
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms. Once close is completed, sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation.
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
