Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator at Connecticut's leading healthcare network. Located at 5 Dayton Road Waterford, CT, this role is Mon-Fri in a fast-paced medical office environment.

You will greet patients, register them, manage records, and facilitate clear communication between patients and providers to ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, with 2+ years of customer service experience and Epic software familiarity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent, OR a minimum of 2 years customer service experience preferred.
• Relevant experience in a fast-paced medical office highly preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Positive, customer-focused approach, with commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Serve patients by greeting them, answering routine questions, registering patients, and maintaining records and accounts.
• Create a positive patient experience by facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers and ensuring efficient office operations.
• Schedule appointments to provide timely, accurate, friendly, and clinically appropriate patient access.
• Respond to incoming correspondence from patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and beyond, in accordance with patient privacy and safety standards.

Job Description
