Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator in Cary, NC to deliver a personalized front desk experience during check in/out. Training will be provided for those new to the optical industry to help patients see and live their best lives.

This role reports to the Office General Manager. Weekend and evening shifts are required, with opportunities for growth through role-specific training and associate discounts on MyEyeDr. products.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front desk, reception, or customer facing role supporting administrative duties.
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure.
• Friendly, patient-centric person who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out process experience.
• Become a subject matter expert in insurance plans to verify and educate patients on options at check in/out.
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability.
• Multitask by managing multiple phone lines, greeting patients and walk-ins, scheduling appointments.
• Cross train to other office support roles as needed (Eyewear Consultants, Optometric Technicians).
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide seamless patient experience.
